Welcome Back to CCS: A Year to Celebrate, A Future to Design

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year!

There’s always a special energy on the first day of school with our students excitedly streaming back onto campus. But today feels especially meaningful as Canggu Community School celebrates 25 years of learning, growing, and thriving together in the heart of Bali.

Our 25th Anniversary is more than a milestone, it’s a moment to honor our roots and rise toward our shared future.

From its humble beginnings to its emergence as a leading international school in Indonesia, CCS has always stood for something bigger than itself: a community committed to learning, respect, balance, and engagement.

This year, we’ll honor our history with special events, stories from alumni and founders, and a celebration of how far we’ve come together. And more importantly, we’ll reflect on the values that have sustained us, and still guide us, as we shape what’s next.

Today also marks the first official day of our newly adopted Strategic Commitments 2025–2030, approved by the Yayasan and co-created with voices from across our community. These five commitments aren’t just aspirations, they are our roadmap forward:

As your Head of School, I want to thank you, families, students, staff, alumni, for making CCS the vibrant, values-driven community it is. We also invite you to walk alongside us as we dream, build, and grow in alignment with our commitments.
